Good luck guys and congratulations to the new "Charles Thomas's" who have kept the faith when everyone else told them they were mad... Camborne without tin just doesn't seem right - the new mining technologies combined with other regeneration makes for a better proposition for everyone in Camborne-Redruth.

A very well laid out, interesting and informative website that does full justice to the mining history and operations of South Crofty. I was last underground at Crofty in 1963, so good to see the 'iconic' headgear and catch up with changes on-site! All the best and every success for the local economy and Cornish mining.

Our annual pilgrimage drive past the gates has always left us wondering and hoping something was happening under our sacred Cornish soil.
